Trees also clean and filter water and strengthen soil, both in the forest and downstream in the communities we live in. All of that means a thriving ecosystem with better protection from increasingly extreme weather.

2024 brought devastating hurricanes and flooding throughout the Eastern US resulting in widespread forest loss. Coastal and inland communities are unimaginably vulnerable, making reforestation more critical than ever.
That’s why 1 & Fund is supporting tree planting efforts through the Arbor Day Foundation in this region. By restoring these critical ecosystems, we’re not just helping to bring back forests—we’re strengthening the land, supporting wildlife, and safeguarding the future of the communities that call these areas home.
